Give it a Rest Jordan

23. Thats the number of times I want to slap people when they start reminiscing about some game Jordan played in. It is really funny to hear these old dudes like Jordan come out and speak about some of today's talent. Sort of belittling their … [Read More]

Giants: 2012 Champs

I was wrong. I guessed the Giants in 7. The Giants instead won in 4. I don't believe anyone could have guessed they'd sweep the Tigers before the series started. Yet, they looked nearly unbeatable in the World Series. I said that this would be a … [Read More]

Dreams of Being an NFL Kicker

As I got older and I started to accept that I'd never all of a sudden obtain olympic speed let alone decent athletic speed or be able to dunk a basketball, I also started to think about how I wish I had focused on playing the positions or sports that … [Read More]

Quick Incoherent Thoughts: Harden, Doug Martin, Los Angeles Losers

  • Harden had a good couple of games, but people are really over reacting just as they did with ‘Linsanity.’ I like Harden but I dont think he belonged in the Olympic squad nor is he a max player. Where do you rank Harden among all guards in the league? Or if you were a GM, who would you pick Harden over? It is an interesting exercise to go through each team and compare their guards to James Harden.
  • The Raiders got ran over by rookie, Doug Martin, today. Exciting name to go with an exciting game. He definitely provides the Bucs with a better option than the inconsistent Blount. In the same game, Darren McFadden went down again. A very typical occurence for the Raiders and Run DMC.
  • Did the Broncos and Payton Manning play well or was the Bengals defense just terrible? Payton has no weapons and a decent team would shut the Broncos down.
  • The Lakers look old and disoriented. Dwight Howard isn’t looking very explosive. Nash is injured and old. Kobe is looking more like Gilbert arenas post the gun show. Ron Artest looks more confused than ever. Their bench is headlined by Jordan Hill and Antawn Jamison – enough said.
  • The Clippers on the other hand look like they are a tough team to play against. They are a mean and dirty team. With dirty players like Griffin, Jordan and newly added thug, Matt Barnes aka Sac’s finest, there are some hard fouls being committed.
